Indiana Awards Scholarships to 300 Aspiring Teachers to Strengthen Educator Pipeline

The Indiana Commission for Higher Education announced that 300 students across the state, including six from the Bartholomew County area, have been awarded renewable scholarships of up to $10,000 per year. This initiative aims to bolster Indiana's teacher pipeline by reducing the cost of earning a degree for aspiring educators, with recipients committing to teach for five years at an eligible Indiana school.
