New York Public University Systems Offer Admissions to Disenrolled Howard University Students
New York Governor Kathy Hochul announced that the State University of New York (SUNY) and City University of New York (CUNY) systems will extend admission opportunities to over 500 students recently disenrolled from Howard University. These students were reportedly removed due to a miscommunicated tuition payment deadline, despite many awaiting financial aid packages. Impacted New York resident students will receive expedited late admissions review and an $800 financial credit from CUNY to cover non-refundable deposits.
