Michigan Allocates $135 Million to Expand K-12 Out-of-School Learning Programs

Michigan's Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP) has committed $135 million for its 2026-27 Out-of-School Time Grant Program. This funding, nearly double the prior year's amount, aims to significantly expand before-school, after-school, and summer learning opportunities for K-12 students statewide.
