Wake Forest University's Educating Character Initiative (ECI) has secured an $8.5 million joint grant from the John Templeton Foundation and Lilly Endowment Inc. This funding will support the creation of new communities of impact, provide opportunities for emerging leaders, develop resources, advance research, and cultivate faculty and administrators to integrate character development into higher education across the United States. The ECI has already impacted thousands of lives and aims to reach 1.2 million students, faculty, staff, and administrators by the end of the decade.
