Poland Bans Smartphone Use in Primary Schools

Poland has enacted a law prohibiting the use of smartphones, tablets, and other electronic communication devices in primary schools and kindergartens during lessons, breaks, and school activities. The law, signed on July 31, 2026, takes effect on September 1, 2026, with schools given until the end of the year to fully implement the new regulations.
