Higher Education Associations Urge U.S. Department of Education to Preserve Title VI International Education Programs Regulations

The American Council on Education (ACE) and other higher education associations have urged the U.S. Department of Education to withdraw its proposal to rescind regulations governing Title VI International Education Programs and the Fulbright-Hays Program. They argue that eliminating the existing framework during a transition of program responsibility to the Department of State would create unnecessary uncertainty and that any changes should preserve the clear statutory framework.
