Higher Education Associations Urge ED to Preserve Title VI International Education Regulations

The American Council on Education (ACE) and other higher education associations have urged the U.S. Department of Education (ED) to withdraw its proposal to rescind regulations governing the Title VI International Education Programs and the Fulbright-Hays Program. The groups argue that eliminating the existing regulatory framework during a transfer of program responsibility to the Department of State would create unnecessary uncertainty and undermine the clear statutory framework institutions rely on.
