U.S. Department of Education Announces National Summer Webinar Series on Student Privacy

The U.S. Department of Education's Student Privacy Policy Office (SPPO) will host a three-day National Summer Webinar Series in August 2026. The series will cover essential topics such as FERPA basics, methods for vetting educational technology for privacy protections, current data security best practices, incident response protocols, and frequently asked questions regarding student privacy scenarios.
