Three American Universities Approved to Establish Operations in Greece

Georgetown University, Iowa State University, and Roger Williams University have received approval from the Greek Ministry of Education to establish academic entities in Greece, starting with the 2026–27 academic year. This move deepens the US-Greece partnership and is facilitated by a new legal framework allowing foreign non-state, non-profit university branches in the country.
