Rice Expands Free Tuition to Families Earning Up to $200,000

Rice University announced an expansion of its Rice Investment financial aid program, offering free tuition to students from families earning up to $200,000 a year, starting with students entering in fall 2027. Students from families earning less than $100,000 will receive full coverage of tuition, mandatory fees, and room and board, with the university continuing to meet 100% of demonstrated financial need without requiring student loans.
