Center for Education Reform Releases 2026 National Charter School Law Rankings

The Center for Education Reform (CER) has released its 2026 National Charter School Law Rankings and Scorecard, an analysis identifying states that have fostered environments for charter schools to open, grow, and expand, and those that are lagging. The scorecard grades charter law across four areas: Authorization, Growth, Operations, and Equity. Florida, Arizona, and Indiana are among the top-performing states.
