Texas Expands College Admissions Testing Options to Include Classic Learning Test

The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board has determined that the Classic Learning Test (CLT) meets the same standards of rigor and reliability as the SAT and ACT, and is moving forward with rulemaking to include the CLT as an accepted admissions exam for the state's public universities. This move expands test choice for students and aims to restore merit in higher education admissions.
