UK Government Boosts Further Education and Apprenticeship Funding

The UK government is investing an additional £1 billion through the Growth and Skills Levy, including fully funded apprenticeships for eligible under-25s and up to £8,000 for SMEs hiring young apprentices. This initiative also allocates £287 million for over 22,000 new college and post-16 places, aiming to create 50,000 youth apprenticeships by the end of the current Parliament. This significant funding aims to enhance skills development and employment opportunities for young people.
