American Public University System Completes Merger with Rasmussen University and Hondros College of Nursing

The American Public University System (APUS) officially combined with Rasmussen University and Hondros College of Nursing on August 5, 2026, forming a single, expanded higher education institution. The newly structured system now includes American Public University, American Military University, Rasmussen University, and Hondros College of Nursing, and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Angela Selden has been appointed Chancellor of the American Public University System in August 2026.
