Taiwan Awards Record Number of Scholarships to Filipino Students

Taiwan has granted a record 147 scholarships to students from the Philippines for the 2026-2027 academic year, an increase from the previous year's 135. Over 1,000 applications were received, highlighting growing Filipino interest in Taiwanese higher education. These scholarships, funded by various Taiwanese agencies, support talent exchanges under Taiwan's New Southbound Policy, fostering international educational cooperation.
