NYSUT sues to stop Diamond Charter School's move to West Hempstead.

The New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) union, along with parents and educators, has filed a lawsuit in Albany County Supreme Court seeking to block the temporary relocation of Diamond Charter School to West Hempstead. The lawsuit challenges the State University of New York (SUNY) Board of Trustees' approval of the move while the school's permanent facility in Hempstead is under construction.
