Youngstown State University Trustees Approve New Contracts for Faculty and Classified Unions

The Youngstown State University (YSU) Board of Trustees has approved new contracts for both the faculty union and classified unions. The faculty union contract is effective August 21, 2026, through August 20, 2029, while the new ACE contract runs from August 16 through August 15, 2029. The university stated that the faculty agreement's increases are expected to aid in the recruitment and retention of premier faculty, benefiting current and future students.
