West Virginia University President Michael Benson unveiled a "Strategic Compass" plan to address declining enrollment, improve student retention and graduation rates, and enhance financial aid. The initiative also aims to elevate the university's academic reputation, with a goal of joining the Association of American Universities, following previous efforts to tackle structural deficits.
