Youngstown State University Trustees Approve New Three-Year Union Contracts

Youngstown State University's board of trustees has unanimously approved new three-year contracts for two of its unions: the Ohio Education Association (representing faculty) and the Association of Classified Employees (representing administrative, maintenance, and support staff). The agreements include 3% salary raises in each of the contract's three years for the OEA, and pay increases of 3%, 2.75%, and 3% for the ACE union. Additionally, the university will increase starting salaries for faculty positions to aid in recruitment and retention.
