More than 25,000 Hope Scholarship Students to Receive First Round of Funding Next Week

West Virginia's Hope Scholarship program is set to disburse its first quarterly payments for the 2026-27 school year to over 25,000 students on August 13, two days ahead of schedule. The program has expanded eligibility to all K-12 children in West Virginia, including existing private school and homeschool students, leading to nearly 29,000 applications started and over 25,000 approved for funding.
