Teachers Offered Top-Up Payment in Bid to Avoid Third Statewide Strike

A state government has offered a new pay and conditions deal, including a $2000 lump-sum payment, to public school teachers and educators in an attempt to prevent a third statewide strike. The Australian Education Union's Victorian branch is currently considering the renewed offer.
