National University of Singapore Expands Partnership with OpenAI, Granting All Students and Staff Access to ChatGPT Edu and Codex

The National University of Singapore (NUS) and OpenAI are expanding their collaboration to provide all NUS students, faculty, and staff with access to ChatGPT Edu and Codex, including enterprise-level security. This initiative, building on an earlier collaboration with the NUS School of Computing, will initially pilot ChatGPT Edu in selected courses before wider integration into undergraduate programs. The expansion is supported by a survey indicating high AI usage and a strong belief in AI literacy among Singaporean university students.
