Penn Hills School District Support Staff Union Averts Strike with Tentative Agreement

The Penn Hills School District and the Penn Hills Education Support Professionals Association have reached a tentative agreement on contract negotiations, successfully avoiding a strike. The agreement, which includes a one-time wage increase for paraprofessionals and other union members, will be reviewed by the full union membership today, August 11, and voted on August 13. The district announced the agreement on Tuesday afternoon.
