Pennsylvania Governor Announces Expedited Support for Students Unenrolled by Howard University
Governor Josh Shapiro and the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) announced today that PASSHE is offering expedited admissions support to over 500 incoming first-year students from Pennsylvania who were unenrolled by Howard University for Fall 2026. Impacted students will have access to fast-tracked applications, a guaranteed in-state tuition rate, fee waivers, and potential financial aid to attend one of Pennsylvania's 10 state universities. Lincoln University is also offering tuition reductions and need-based scholarships.
