Shelby Eastern Schools Superintendent to step down in October

Dr. Todd Hitchcock, Superintendent of Shelby Eastern Schools, announced his resignation effective October, after nearly seven years of service. He has accepted a position outside of education. The announcement was made during a board meeting that also included updates on third-grade reading scores, career and technical education participation, potential multimillion-dollar facility projects, and student discipline and academic policies.
