Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Rules on Off-Campus Programs Become Effective

New and amended rules from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board regarding off-campus and self-supporting courses and programs for public institutions, as well as the approval process for off-campus education at public universities, health-related institutions, and public two-year colleges, became effective on August 16, 2026. These changes include the repeal of certain sections and amendments to others, impacting how these programs are approved and regulated across Texas.
