University of Georgia Welcomes Record-Breaking Class of 2030

The University of Georgia is welcoming its largest-ever class of first-year students, with 6,250 individuals joining the Class of 2030. This incoming cohort was selected from a record pool of 51,600 applicants. Over 80% of the new students are Georgia residents, representing 460 high schools across 143 counties. The class boasts an average weighted high school GPA of 4.2, an average SAT score of 1360, and an average ACT score of 31.
