U.S. Department of Education to Continue Using Its Own Portal for K-12 Formula Funds

Despite ongoing efforts to transfer program responsibilities to other agencies, the U.S. Department of Education has confirmed it will continue to send billions of dollars in K-12 formula funds for the current school year through its own online grants portal on October 1, 2026. This includes significant allocations for Title I and Title II programs.
