U.S. Department of Education to Continue K-12 Fund Distribution Through Its Own System

The U.S. Department of Education has confirmed it will continue to use its existing online payments system to distribute billions in formula dollars for K-12 schools this fall, despite ongoing efforts to transfer program responsibilities to other agencies. This includes over $12.5 billion approved by Congress for states, with $10.8 billion for Title I grants and $1.7 billion for teacher professional development through Title II.
