Nearly 2,000 Colleges Fail to Submit Required Student Outcomes Data to Education Department

The U.S. Department of Education's Office of Federal Student Aid reports that approximately 1,930 out of over 4,640 colleges and universities have either missed or underreported required student outcomes data under the Financial Value Transparency framework. The Education Department has issued a warning, stating that non-compliance could jeopardize access to federal grants and loans by early 2027.
