Justice Department Files More Lawsuits Challenging State Tuition Equity for Dreamers

The U.S. Department of Justice has initiated four additional lawsuits against state tuition equity policies for undocumented students in Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon, and Washington. This brings the total to twenty-one such lawsuits in two years. Advocacy groups view these actions as a coordinated effort to hinder educational access for Dreamers and create instability for higher education institutions.
