Rice University Expands Campus, Increases Student Enrollment by 1,500

Rice University has undergone a significant growth campaign over the last five years, adding 1,500 students, over 200 tenure-track professors, and eight new or renovated buildings. This expansion aims to increase access to a Rice education, with overall student enrollment growing by approximately 22% from fall 2020 to fall 2026. The university welcomed its largest-ever freshman class this fall, comprising about 1,350 freshmen and 50 transfer students.
