Florida Directs K-12 Schools to Incorporate AI Rules; State Proposes Reducing Required Vaccines

The Florida Department of Education is directing all K-12 school districts to incorporate rules regarding artificial intelligence into their internet safety guidelines. Simultaneously, the state's Department of Health has proposed removing Hepatitis B, varicella (chicken pox), Haemophilus influenza type b (Hib), and pneumococcal conjugate vaccines from entry requirements for PreK-12 public schools, a move that the American Academy of Pediatrics President has stated will put children at risk.
