University of South Carolina Columbia campus welcomes record enrollment

The University of South Carolina's Columbia campus is experiencing record enrollment, now approaching 42,000 students, the highest in its 225-year history. The new freshman class includes approximately 7,800 first-year students, with over 4,100 from South Carolina, and students from 45 states and 41 countries. The overall system enrollment, including regional campuses, totals over 60,300 students.
