U.S. Department of Education Launches New Initiative to Support Institutions in Managing Student Loan Default

The U.S. Department of Education (ED) has announced a new initiative to assist educational institutions in preventing and managing student loan defaults. This program will offer webinars, regional workshops, conference sessions, and one-on-one consultations to help institutions improve borrower success and maintain eligibility for federal student aid programs. The initiative will particularly focus on institutions with elevated delinquency, nonpayment, or cohort default rates.
