Ohio launches Regional Education Partnerships to improve student outcomes and workforce preparation
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jim Tressel have announced the creation of 12 Regional Education Partnerships across the state. This initiative aims to unite local education leaders, employers, and workforce organizations to identify and address challenges faced by young Ohioans from early childhood through their entry into the workforce. The partnerships will use a data-driven approach to coordinate efforts and measure progress in areas such as kindergarten readiness, reading proficiency, and postsecondary enrollment.
