House Committee on Education and Workforce Requests GAO Studies on Higher Education Issues

The House Committee on Education and Workforce has requested three Government Accountability Office (GAO) studies to examine significant issues affecting students, colleges, and taxpayers. These studies will focus on state and public university tenure reforms, barriers students face when transferring college credits, and the increasing use of artificial intelligence in college admissions and scholarship decisions.
