University of Toronto Administrative and Technical Workers Vote to Strike

Over 6,100 administrative and technical workers at the University of Toronto, members of the United Steelworkers (USW) Local 1998, are in a strike position as of September 8, the first day of the semester. The workers voted 96% in favor of strike action to secure a new contract, potentially disrupting university operations.
