Federal Student Aid Systems to Temporarily Halt Operations for Fiscal Year-End

The U.S. Department of Education's core financial systems, including G5 and the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System, will undergo a modified processing schedule from September 30 to October 1, 2026. This temporary shutdown for fiscal year-end processing will prevent schools from drawing down Campus-Based, Federal Pell Grant, TEACH Grant, or Direct Loan funds, impacting timely funding for educational institutions.
