ETAMU Launches New Bachelor's Programs to Combat Statewide Teacher Shortage

East Texas A&M University (ETAMU) is introducing new, fully online and asynchronous bachelor's programs designed to help school paraprofessionals, educational aides, and substitute teachers earn degrees and teacher certification. These first-of-their-kind programs aim to address the statewide teacher shortage in Texas by providing a flexible pathway for current school employees to become certified teachers while continuing to work, thereby strengthening the teacher pipeline.
