National Higher Education Coalition Launches to Advance Recognition of Prior Learning

A new coalition of six national higher education associations, the National Leadership Roundtable on the Recognition of Learning, has launched to provide coordinated leadership on expanding the recognition of prior learning. This initiative aims to include skills and competencies gained through work, military service, and other experiences beyond traditional coursework, with the goal of boosting persistence and graduation rates for adult students.
