SEIU Local 503 Reaches Tentative Agreement, Calls Off Higher Education Strike

SEIU Local 503 has reached a tentative agreement after nine months of bargaining, leading to the cancellation of a strike by higher education workers. The agreement includes 3% cost-of-living adjustments (COLAs) for the current and next year, and maintains protections against contracting out, layoff/bumping rights, and health insurance.
