Education Department Updates Student Loan Repayment Application with New Repayment Assistance Plan

The U.S. Education Department has updated its income-driven repayment (IDR) plan application to incorporate the new Repayment Assistance Plan (RAP). This plan, established under President Trump's One Big, Beautiful Bill Act, offers federal student loan borrowers another income-driven option, particularly for those with loans disbursed on or after July 1, 2026.
