U.S. Department of Education Expands its Investigation into Swarthmore College Over New Allegations of Antisemitism

The U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights (OCR) is expanding its investigation into Swarthmore College following new complaints of antisemitic propaganda on campus. The OCR will assess whether the institution violated Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 by allegedly failing to adequately respond to antisemitic harassment, including a recent video depicting a burning Israeli soldier.
