Florida Department of Education and FAU Partner on $5.7 Million Initiative for Literacy, Numeracy, and AI in Schools

The Florida Department of Education (FDOE) and Florida Atlantic University (FAU) have partnered on a three-year, $5.7 million initiative, 'LEAP-AI,' to improve literacy and numeracy outcomes in high-need schools and prepare teachers and principals to effectively use artificial intelligence (AI). This effort aims to strengthen the educator pipeline and enhance student achievement in K-12 education.
