Texas Initiates Free College Application Week Statewide

Texas is holding its annual Free College Application Week from October 12-18, 2026, allowing all Texas residents to submit undergraduate applications to public institutions through ApplyTexas without a fee. This initiative, led by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, aims to increase access to higher education for students across the state by removing a common financial barrier. It encourages more high school seniors to apply to college.
