Board of Education adds crowdfunding, subtracts DEI language

Rowan-Salisbury Schools officials have clarified best practices for crowdfunding campaigns, with a new policy requiring employee initiation and prior written approval based on funding goals. Campaigns with goals exceeding $50,000 will fall under the purview of the school board. Additionally, the school board considered removing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) language from its policies.
