MacKenzie Scott Donates $42 Million to Expand Support for Low-Income College Students

Philanthropist MacKenzie Scott and Yield Giving have granted $42 million to 10,000 Degrees, a nonprofit supporting low-income college students. This unrestricted donation, the largest ever for the organization, will fund a new five-year strategic plan. The goal is to double the annual number of students supported from 5,000 to 10,000 by 2031, enhancing college completion and career outcomes.
