Five Colleges Launch New Accreditation System for Independent Schools in the U.S.

Houston Christian University and four other institutions have partnered to establish the National Association for Academic Excellence Inc. (NAAE), a new non-region-based accreditation system for independent schools. The NAAE aims to offer an alternative accreditation focused on educational value and institutional autonomy, and is currently seeking formal recognition from the U.S. Department of Education.
