Santa Fe College Awarded $3 Million Federal Grant to Advance AI Education

Santa Fe College has received a five-year, $3 million Title III Strengthening Institutions Program grant from the U.S. Department of Labor on behalf of the U.S. Department of Education. This funding will support the college's efforts to become a leader in responsible AI adoption and prepare graduates for an AI-competent economy. The grant will facilitate the development of an AI Institute and Learning Lab, including renovations for a student AI learning lab, faculty professional development area, and AI demonstration space, along with new instructional technology and infrastructure.
